The Organic Breathable 2-Stage Baby Crib Mattress combines breathability and waterproofing to create a safer, healthier, and more hygienic crib mattress design. The mattress starts with a firm, flat waterproof surface made from non-GMO sugarcane that is so pure it meets food contact standards and can be easily wiped clean. This approach protects the inside of the mattress from urine, spit-up, and other messes. A 3-dimensional cover with a soft organic cotton surface is then added to increase airflow, creating a breathable space under the baby that improves temperature regulation and allows the baby to breathe directly through the cover if necessary. The cover also features a waterproof backing, eliminating the need for an additional waterproof pad.
The flexible 2-stage design allows the mattress to grow with your child for years to come. The mattress is made with organic cotton fabric and filling throughout and passes all federal and state flammability standards without any fire retardant chemicals or flame barriers. The TWO-STAGE BABY CRIB MATTRESS has a firmer side for infants and a medium-firm side for growing toddlers, providing the right support as your child develops. The "Breathe Thru" organic cotton mattress pad has a 3D mesh surface, allowing the baby to breathe while face down and reducing breathing restrictions and overheating. The breathable surface can be removed and washed for easy cleaning.
The FIRM WATERPROOF MATTRESS CORE is made with a WaveSupport core that can be used as a standalone crib mattress when the cover is in the wash.
